This Privacy Policy describes how dB Snap: Decibel Meter ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Microphone Access

dB Snap: Decibel Meter requires access to your device's microphone to measure sound levels in real-time. All audio processing is done locally on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data.

1.2 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Measurement Sessions (Premium feature): Historical decibel measurements including timestamps, min/max/average values, and measurement duration. This data is stored in a local database on your device.
• App Settings: Your preferences including threshold settings, calibration values, and quick presets. These are stored locally on your device.
• Premium Subscription Status: Information about your in-app purchase subscription status, stored locally and verified with Apple's App Store.

2. Data Collection and Sharing

We do not collect, share, or sell any personal data.

• We do not use analytics or tracking services.
• We do not use advertising networks or collect advertising identifiers.
• We do not transmit any data to external servers.
• All data remains on your device and is never accessed by us or third parties.

3. In-App Purchases

dB Snap: Decibel Meter offers a premium subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple, and we do not have access to your payment information. Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework and stored locally on your device.

4. Data Export and Sharing

You have the option to export your measurement data as CSV or PDF files (Premium feature) or share screenshots of your measurements. These actions are performed entirely on your device using iOS's native sharing functionality. We do not have access to any data you choose to export or share.

5. Third-Party Services

dB Snap: Decibel Meter does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

• Apple App Store: Used only for in-app purchase processing (handled by Apple).
• iOS System Services: Used for microphone access and file sharing (standard iOS functionality).

6. Data Security

All data stored by dB Snap: Decibel Meter is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. Your data is protected by your device's security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID if enabled.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your measurement sessions at any time through the app's Session History feature (Premium). To completely remove all app data, you can delete the app from your device, which will remove all locally stored data.

8. Children's Privacy

dB Snap: Decibel Meter does not knowingly collect any information from children. Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

10. Your Consent

By using dB Snap: Decibel Meter, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
