Baby Kick Counter & Contractions

1. Data Collection

Baby Kick Counter & Contractions collects the following data that you manually enter:

• Kick Count Data: Number of kicks, timestamps, session duration, and average intervals
• Contraction Data: Contraction start/end times, duration, and intervals between contractions
• Optional Notes: Any notes you choose to add to sessions
• Settings: Your app preferences (due date, display units, haptic feedback, reminder preferences, etc.)
• Reminder Settings (PRO only): Your due date and reminder time preferences for personalized notifications

We do NOT collect:

• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers
• Any automatic data collection

2. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device only.

• Data is stored using SQLite database on your device
• Data is never transmitted to servers
• Data is never shared with third parties
• No cloud backup (unless you use PRO backup feature, which stores data locally on your device)
• No external access to your data

3. Data Usage

Your data is used solely for:

• Tracking and displaying your kick counts and contractions
• Generating session summaries and history
• Calculating trends and intervals (PRO feature)

Your data is NEVER used for:

• Advertising
• Analytics
• Third-party sharing
• Marketing
• Data selling

4. Data Security

• All data is encrypted using device-level encryption
• No external access to your data
• You can delete all data at any time through app settings
• No accounts means no data breaches possible

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete: You can delete all data at any time through app settings
• Export: You can export your data as PDF or CSV (PRO feature)
• Backup: You can create local backups (PRO feature)
• No Account Required: No account means no data stored on servers

6. Notifications

Local Notifications (PRO feature):

• The app uses local notifications to remind you to count kicks and notify you of important milestones
• All notifications are scheduled and stored locally on your device
• We do NOT use push notifications, remote notifications, or any server-based notification services
• Notification data (due date, reminder time) is stored locally and never transmitted to servers
• You can enable or disable reminders at any time in the app settings
• Notifications require your permission, which you can grant or revoke in your device settings

7. Third-Party Services

Baby Kick Counter & Contractions does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

The app uses:

• Apple In-App Purchase: For PRO subscription (handled by Apple, we do not receive payment information)
• Local Storage: SQLite database on your device
• Local Notifications: iOS/Android local notification system (no external services)

8. Children's Privacy

Baby Kick Counter & Contractions is designed for expectant mothers and their partners. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
