MedTime: Medication Reminder

1. Data Collection

MedTime: Medication Reminder collects the following data that you manually enter:

• Medication Data: Medication names, schedules, times, and optional visual identifiers (icons and colors)
• Reminder Data: Scheduled reminder times, reminder status (pending, taken, missed), and timestamps
• Schedule Data: Schedule types (everyday, specific days, custom), selected days of week, and custom schedule patterns
• Settings: Your app preferences (notification settings, snooze duration, reminder sound, theme preferences, etc.)
• Subscription Status: Your PRO subscription status (stored locally, verified through Apple/Google payment systems)

We do NOT collect:

• Location data
• Usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers (for advertising purposes)
• Medical information or health records

Third-Party Data Collection (RevenueCat):

For PRO subscription management, we use RevenueCat, a third-party service that collects the following data:

• User ID: Apple App Store user identifier for subscription management
• Device ID: Device identifier for Restore Purchases functionality
• Purchase History: Subscription purchase and renewal information

These identifiers are collected only for App Functionality (subscription management and restore purchases) and are NOT used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. RevenueCat's privacy policy can be found at: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

2. Data Storage

Medication and reminder data is stored locally on your device only.

• Medication data, reminders, schedules, and settings are stored using SQLite database on your device
• Medication and reminder data is never transmitted to servers
• Medication and reminder data is never shared with third parties
• No cloud backup or synchronization for medication data
• No external access to your medication data

Subscription Data (RevenueCat):

• Subscription status and purchase information are managed by RevenueCat and Apple
• RevenueCat stores subscription data on their servers for subscription management and restore purchases functionality
• RevenueCat's data storage practices are governed by their privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

3. Data Usage

Your data is used solely for:

• Displaying your medications and reminders
• Scheduling and sending local notifications
• Tracking reminder status (taken, missed, pending)
• Providing app functionality (snooze, mark as taken, etc.)

Your data is NEVER used for:

• Advertising
• Analytics
• Third-party sharing
• Marketing
• Data selling
• Medical research

4. Data Security

• All data is encrypted using device-level encryption
• No external access to your data
• You can delete medications and reminders at any time
• No accounts means no data breaches possible

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete: You can delete medications and reminders at any time
• No Account Required: No account means no data stored on servers
• Local Control: All data remains on your device

6. Notifications

Local Notifications:

• The app uses local notifications to remind you to take your medications
• All notifications are scheduled and stored locally on your device
• We do NOT use push notifications, remote notifications, or any server-based notification services
• Notification data (medication names, reminder times) is stored locally and never transmitted to servers
• You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app settings
• Notifications require your permission, which you can grant or revoke in your device settings

7. Third-Party Services

MedTime: Medication Reminder does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

The app uses:

• RevenueCat: For PRO subscription management and restore purchases functionality. RevenueCat collects User ID, Device ID, and Purchase History only for App Functionality (subscription management and restore purchases). These identifiers are NOT used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
• Apple/Google In-App Purchase: For PRO subscription payments (handled by Apple/Google, we do not receive payment information)
• Local Storage: SQLite database on your device for medication and reminder data
• Local Notifications: iOS/Android local notification system (no external services)

Important: RevenueCat is used solely for subscription management and restore purchases. Your medication data, reminders, and schedules are never shared with RevenueCat or any other third-party service.

8. Children's Privacy

MedTime: Medication Reminder is designed for users of all ages who need medication reminders. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
